To help you choose the best sports bra, the Daily Mail asked Bridgitte Swales, of the Sports Performance Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre at Roehampton University, to analyse the most popular High Street brands. Each bra was worn by a runner with a 34D chest.

Then, using specialist computer software, the runner was checked for horizontal and vertical breast movement (the less movement, the better). We then rated each bra.

It was in fact the Triumph triaction extreme which came out as the overall winner with the highest score of 10/10
